Rhythm & Rhymes Art Center offers preschool & educational/performing arts classes, starting at just $15 month.
We are a brand new type of center! We are located in an entire complex dedicated to children! Our location offers: an education center, where we teach preschool, science exploration, art, tutoring, Spanish, etc., an activity center, where we teach dance, gym, music, playgroups, FIT classes, etc, & a daycare center! Our classes start at just $15/month. We believe in learning through the arts. Our classes offer hands on learning, learning through play, self-teaching, social awareness, and hand-eye coordination. We believe in teaching students to: respect their fellow students, strive to reach their goals, and be positive role models. We offer the widest range of classes in the area! Multiple arts programs with qualified, passionate, dedicated teachers, who will not only teach their students, but connect with them for many more years.
Our preschool program is the ONLY arts integrated program in the area! We teach through music and movement and we have weekly designated times where we teach music and dance curriculum.
Our mission is to believe! Believe in ourselves as educators of the community's children. Believe in our students to reach their full potential. Our deepest passion is teaching our students to believe in themselves.
Our music classes (rhythm & beat, vocal, guitar, piano, & drums), are provided by One Way Musicians.
We offer teachers with college degrees. Our lead preschool teacher, Miss Jackie, holds her Masters Degree in Elementary Education. Our music teacher, Miss Hannah, holds her Bachelors Degree in Music. We set a high standard for our preschool teachers, they must hold a college degree in order to be a lead teacher!
We also offer scholarship programs! We offer full ride scholarships to our center based on financial need. We also offer a scholarship dance squad, “Dancin Nancys: Dance for a Cure”. Teammates are chosen based on commitment and experience. They dance in memory of Nancy Johanek who danced with Jackie. She passed away in 2007 from Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. This team learns routines that are performed at cancer research and donation events. They also help raise funds for the Nancy Johanek Memorial Scholarship.
