Description: Red Barn Montessori is a traditional Montessori preschool and kindergarten for children 3 to 6 years of age. Our school is located on the outskirts of West Petaluma in a rural, farm setting. Based in nature, Red Barn's program nurtures the child's intellectual, social and emotional development, and promotes mindful respect for the environment. We offer a low student-to-teacher ratio (2:15) that enables the teachers to provide the presence, guidance and attention each child deserves. The country setting gives children plenty of time outdoors to play, explore the gardens and actively engage in the natural world around them.
