Description: Every child deserves to receive the best in child care, which is exactly the philosophy that drives Precious Spirit Child Care. This non-profit childcare center is licensed by the New York State Office of Children and Family Services and serves children from 18 months through 12 years. Early childhood should be a time of fun, warmth, security, exploring and discovery, and at Precious Spirit, children are encouraged to expand their horizons as they socialize with others and develop essential skills. Art, music and movement are explored and learning through play is emphasized. Each child is given personal attention from certified, caring teachers in a warm, safe learning environment. Parents and teachers work together to set goals for children by sharing and supporting each other’s ideas. Through a combination of informal and structured learning experiences, children build their self-confidence and the skills necessary for later achievement in school and beyond. Breakfast, lunch, lite supper and snack are served daily, and the Center is open year round (except for major holidays) from 7am-6:30pm.
