Description: The Police Athletic League I.S. 218 Beacon Center provides children and families with concrete and supportive services in a welcome environment that will enrich their lives socially, culturally and educationally. Along with the agency’s mission, PAL I.S. 218 Beacon seeks to inspire and support youth to overcome obstacles and realize their full individual potential as members of society.

The PAL I.S. 218 Beacon Center consists of an After School program serving the ages of 5-13, teens (14-18) and adults. The Beacon Center provides Homework Help, Arts & Crafts, Education Enrichment, Track and Field, Computer Literacy, Martial Arts, Holiday and Summer Camp, Adolescent rap groups, Job/Career Readiness, Youth Council, Dance, Intramural tournaments, Double Dutch, Flag Football, Game Lounge, Boys and Girls Basketball Clinic, Volley Ball, Open Gym (adults & youth), Ladies Night and GED Preparation.
