We are so blessed that god had a HUGE hand in creating such a fun, loving and nurturing place for our little one to go to. New Kent Christian we want to thank you for providing such an academically and spiritual center. The directors and staff have put forth so much effort to create a safe environment and loving hands. Our son really enjoys going to daycare and brings home all the he learns. He shares his prayers, knowledge and joy with us when we pick him up. We thank you again for all you do!
We love New Kent Christian Academy! Both of my girls attend and have had lovely experiences! My oldest recently graduated from their preschool program and attends their before and after care. My youngest is in the nursery and is a very happy baby! They consistently send updates, and photos through their app. My oldest has had a very successful year in kindergarten and I truly believe this is because of NKCA!
We have been part of the NKCA family for over four years now and only have good things to say. We felt immediately comforted by the staff and learning environment when touring to make what is such a tough decision about who to trust with your child. The loving environment provided for my child to learn and grow in is beyond measure.
Trusting your child in someone’s else hands can be a tough decision, New Kent Christian Academy and their staff make it easy to feel secure and that your child is in the best hands! My son comes home each day with crafts he made and so much to tell me. He loves going to preschool and we love seeing how much he learns each day!
I can not say enough good things about NKCA we are so blessed to have our son here. Our son has been so happy since starting here. Everyone is kind, loving and most of all they love our son! Highly highly recommend!
This is not your average childcare center! out kids have been going here for several years, our youngest since she was 6 weeks old. They do more than just " watch" your babies during the day! our daughter knew her ABC's, before she was a year old! She was even doing sign language at 6 months old. They are a blessing to our family and hands down the absolute best childcare center in our area! If I could give them 10 stars I would!
Our daughter enrolled at NKCA as a Pre-K 3 year old in September of 2020. Our family has been truly blessed to be part of such a wonderful program. She has blossomed into a kind, thoughtful and respectful little lady and has exceeded intellectual development expectations by leaps and bounds. It was important to our family to have her enter a program that not only provided her an education, but respected our parenting choices and didn’t teach subjects that we don’t feel children should learn at school. At 4 years old our child is completing word searches, counting to 100 and beyond, spelling and recognizing words and can read some beginner books. Additionally, she is left handed; the school has been wonderful about respecting that and allowing her to just be a lefty, which is not something I experienced as a child. On top of the academic focus, they offer chapel once a week and memorize/discuss important Bible verses that encourage behaviors that reflect the true heart of Christianity with the goal of producing genuinely kind, courteous, loving individuals as reflective of God’s love. We could not ask for a better Pre-K for our child and are looking forward to continuing in elementary school with NKCS and NKCA as a before and aftercare/summer break location.

My son has been attending the Bottoms Bridge location since they opened a year ago and I could not be more pleased. They have such friendly and loving staff and teachers and my son is learning so much. They are very convenient and a blessing to have in our community. I highly recommend NKCA!
My family has been a part of NKCA’s program for 1.5 years with multiple children in various age groups. All of the teachers and staff are so welcoming and you can tell that they truly love and care for our children. The prices are reasonable and the choice of two locations makes it extremely convenient for New Kent, Charles City, and eastern Henrico residents. We have 100% trust in the centers that our children are safe every day and not once have we had any reason to worry. Our 4 year old has learned so much in the past year- from writing all of her ABC’s & her name, to learning many stories of the Bible and children’s songs. The center provides several field trips each year along with classroom celebrations & so many cute crafts! We highly recommend NKCA- they have become such a big part of our life!
Our daughter loves everything about NKCA, from the staff to the other kids. She loves to help out where she can, the fun activities, VBS, and field trips!
