Description: MEMAW'S DAYCARE is a Center based Child Care Facility in BEACH MS, with a maximum capacity of 44 children. This child care center helps with children in the age range of Infant Care, 1 yr old, 2 yr old, 3 yr old, 4 yr old, 5 yr old Pre-Sch. The provider also participates in a subsidized child care program.
If you want your kids to be loved and feel at home this is the daycare for you. If you want a daycare that your kids remember years later and ask to go visit Ms. Donna and Memaw this is the daycare for you. My kids all loved this daycare and loved the care they received.
Red flag 1. Every other center in the area had NO OPENINGS, “Memaw” got my kids in same week.
Red flag 2. The very first week my children attended a teacher was arrested for BITING an infant.
Red flag 3. I get a phone call that my son is having “labored breathing” and has broken out in a rash over his entire body.. at 4PM. Upon arrival I find my son to be a giant hive. Labored breathing. I take him to the ER immediately to find that he had FIFTY SIX ant bites. This caused an allergic reaction that he needed epinephrine and 7 days of Benadryl and Zyrtec. When I finally receive the incident report I find that it happened at 2PM. My son sat swollen and having an allergic reaction for TWO hours before anyone called me. After this several instances my children came home with various injuries. The last straw was when “Memaw” refused to assist in the potty training of my son. I work full time, my kids spend most of the day at daycare and my son will never potty train if what is enforced at home is not reinforced at daycare. Beyond this were several instances of just down right unprofessionalism. BEWARE. Do not send your children here.
