Description: Mayflower Preschool is a developmental preschool with comprehensive activities for your child to receive a warm and enriching preschool experience providing them with the foundation to grow socially, emotionally, and intellectually. Through play and education our students experience activities designed to encourage language development, academic readiness, creativity, exploration, physical stimulation, experimentation, discovery, emotional growth, and social interaction.
Our early childhood program is led and inspired through the collaborative teamwork of our school director Kendy Gioia and our team of superb teachers. We all work together as a community to enrich our children’s early childhood experience. Our teachers prepare the environment with stimulating activities for the children to learn, develop, and grow while providing each child with the tools they need to succeed. Each classroom is stocked with fun, educational materials varied to reflect classroom themes while challenging the children’s development and interests. As the year progresses our daily curriculum provides children opportunity to naturally develop and an emphasis on reaching their educational goals coupled with fun physical activity for exploration and an aesthetically pleasing environment created and inspired by the artwork of your child.
Value is placed on close interaction between home and school. Working together, we can maximize every child’s learning potential. Parent Teacher communication is vital therefore teachers send monthly newsletters along with daily and weekly postings. Parent conferences are offered each year to share staff observations on each child's growth and development. Most importantly our preschools primary goal is to help parents encourage their children’s creativeness, exploration, discovery and lifelong love of learning in the safe nurturing environment.
Come observe our preschool and experience the difference for yourself!
We had a horrible experience with mayflower. Staff specially Director was poorly educated about kids and their needs. We noticed our son behavior changed all of the sudden and he was very stressed and not happy at all. Now everything is changed and he is one happy boy at his new school!!!Im glad we found out soon.
