I have used this provider for less than 6 months

I used this provider for not even one month. My son started there June 6th and then stopped end of June/ early July. During that time he came home with a wet diaper and no poop but poop all over his butt. I get it is busy and hectic at times, but sending a 5.5 month old child home with poop still on is butt because they didn't finish the diaper change is not right. They also gave him tap water which made him sick and I had to bring him to the Dr. to get checked. After I provided bottled water he didn't get sick. During the short time he was there, they had to shut down for a week and a half due to covid. They were shut down June 23rd and 24th to July 5th, open on the 28th of June. On July 3rd my mother passed away and I called them letting them know Caleb wont be there for a week maybe longer. They were not sympathetic at all and JUST wanted to be paid for the child care they provided him. In my opinion the child care they provided was sub-par. They tried to charge me for a full month $625. They charge $35 dollars a day and do $625 for a month. For the time he was there it added up to around maybe 500. After Shannon tried to pull the contract into the conversation I asked her to send me a picture of it and nowhere did it say that I had to pay for the days that they shut down. It says that a yearly calendar shows closure dates and will be provided at the start of his tuition. Those dates are built in and will not be prorated. I understand that, but the days they were closed were not on the calendar and my man had to stay home from work to watch our son. So he missed a week and a half of work and wasn't paid for. With my mother passing and my man not being paid for that week and a half we didn't have any money. I took a week off of work for bereavement. I told them and they were not willing to work with us at all. After conversing with Shannon and her saying that I was trying to get out of paying for child care, which I was not, she threatened legal action and then said she will drop the price to $520. So I had to somehow come up with $520 or they would charge me $10 dollars every day I was late or take legal action. So I got the money and paid them. Went to go grab all the stuff that I had there. They used all of the sunscreen I had brought for my son, which was brand new. How did they use a full thing of sunscreen in 2 weeks on a 5.5 month old baby? My experience with them was not good and I would not recommend them to anyone. They don't seem like they can handle 12 kids in my opinion. They cant even finish wiping my kids butt and making sure it is clean before moving on to something else.

Erika, You stated in the beginning before you registered for the daycare you were approved for best beginnings scholarship. When checked on you were not qualified and when you were asked to pay the $625 for the monthly bill, you stated you would not pay for the daycare bill. We had to close for COVID due to every kid testing positive. Due to you not wanting to pay your bill, your contract was terminated. The little time you were here, there was never twelve kids here. We are licensed for 12 kids, but it was never that amount. Yes, your mom did pass away and you wanted to keep the spot, but you had to understand in order to keep the spot, you still had to pay for a spot along with the other $625 of what you owed. Your child was always fully cleaned off. There is proof with cameras in the daycare. Wish you luck with finding new daycare.
