When my husband and I were looking for a daycare after our first was born we got a lot of advice from friends and family - the one piece of consistent advice was listen to your gut instinct. We lived just a few houses down from Jennifer’s Daycare so we got to see Jennifer and the kids often during the summer months outside - whenever we ran by she always gave us a friendly smile and wave and my husband and I always would say “when we have kids someday that will be their daycare”. Well that day came and we called all excited to enroll our not yet born baby at daycare. I remember Jennifer telling us we could come tour after our baby was born to make sure it was a good fit - she wanted to make sure the daycare was a good fit for everyone which solidified my gut instinct she was an incredibly special daycare provider. During our conversation she told us another infant would be starting at the same time and she wouldn’t be able to take us on full time until that infant was 6 months old. It had nothing to do with her license, rather the fact she wanted to ensure she could care 110% for both infants and the other kids in her daycare - she could have easily had us start up full time but because she cares for the kids so much didn’t just fill us in the spot because she could. I knew she was worth waiting for and I was right. Despite the fact we moved away from our house just down the road we still send now both of our kids to Jenny’s. She is the most caring, kindhearted, loving daycare provider we could have ever asked for. My kids adore Jenny - they come home so happy and are excited everyday to go to Jennys house. I love that Jenny is honest about how the day goes with the kids, as a parent I love hearing about how each day went and asking advice on things I am struggling with as a parent. She takes them outside to play, makes fun crafts, sings songs, teaches discipline and keeps a consistent routine that kids thrive in. If my kids can’t be at home with me while I am away working there is no other house, daycare or person I would want watching my kids. We all love Jenny and she has become an extension of our family. I highly recommend Jenny if you are looking for someone who is caring, kind, loving and warm - someone who you would want to be a second mommy to your kids.
