I would just like to say Land of Learning Child Care has an excellent prechool program. I have had 3 children attend in Wilson. All 3 were more than ready for school. The teachers are great at both educating children and loving the children. Any issues I have had have been handled above my satisfaction. We have referred family and friends to Land of Learning.

i just want to say, despite whoever wrote that ridiculous review obviously had thier own issues.  They failed to mention the wonderful care that my child has recieved since he was eight weeks old.  I think the staff is wonderful and friendly and always there to help in ANY way possible.  I wish I could give this facility 10 STARS for its efforts and wonderful care that they have given our family in the last three years.  The owners are onsite and are available to help in any situation.  I just want to say THANK YOU Land of Learning for being the best daycare in Wilson:)

During my Experience at land of learning Child care, I have learned several things about the operation of this facility. During the first few weeks that my children started there I started to sense instability, and a lack of care. I have a 1 yr old and a 2 yr old. My children started receiving care at land of learning in February. Leah my 1 yr old started when she was 9 months old in the infant room with in 2 weeks time (Still at the age of 9 months ) was forced to move into the toddler 1 yr old class room where she was with kids that were walking, crawling, and playing independently so that this facility could accept other infants into the infant room. I observed on various occasions Leah (at the age of 9 months) sitting in the middle of several other older children playing with toys, running, and walking all around my child, while the teacher was feeding another child, or texting on her cell phone. In this class room with my child and several other children are two "Teenage girls" that seem to hate their jobs by the expressions on there face, and there lack of greetings every morning. A week or so after my child was moved into this class room I noticed that her "daycare Charts" or " daily care charts" seemed to not be filled out according to the feedings that I had planed for her that day. One day I got her paper and she had only had 2 bottles all day and NO FOOD!! These teachers NEVER told me when she needed diapers, wipes, or more baby food, it also seemed that the office was calling me at work telling me my child was completely out of diapers when she only has 1 diaper left for the day, causing me to have to leave work and carry my child more diapers, or wipes. If she was out of baby food, and no one told me she was out it seemed that she just had her bottles for the day, and did not get to eat food. Once the issue where I saw my child was not getting fed, My husband and I went to the office to complain, We spoke with the owner, and came to an agreement that this WOULD NOT happen again, although not a week later the same things were happening along with my child getting a nasty diaper rash, and my mother going to pick her up at 4:30 Pm in the afternoon when I usually don’t arrive until 6 to find Leah sleeping UNDER THE CRIB, with carpet print on her face. We again contacted the owner to let her know what was going on, and she decided to tell use that she would change Leah's teachers in her class and she would "Personally" make sure that our children were giving the best care that her facility could offer. We agreed to keep our children at this facility since this factor was suppose to be enforced immediately. Days went by and the changes never happened……. On Monday May 10th at 1:00 pm Land of learning called me to tell my that my child had a fever so I needed to come get her. We went to pick up my child and take her to the Dr. to find out that she had an ear infection and medication was prescribed. I received a Dr's note from my pediatrician stating the my child was not contagious and could return to daycare the following day May 11th. The next day I waited until 1:30pm just to make sure that Leah did not spark a fever , and then took her back to daycare so I could go to work. I pulled up and went in to leave Leah, when I was walking out of the facility I see two women running across the parking lot screaming " YOU CANT LEAVE HER" when I asked why the explanation was she cant return until 24hrs with NO fever. I then showed them her doctors note, and told them she had not gotten a fever since she had left yesterday but the insist that I take her back home. I took my child back home, and WE WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN!!!
