About the Provider

Description: Kuei Luck Enrichment Center Summer Day Camp is a K - 8 grade. Our camp is both fun and enriching. Campers spend their mornings learning and preparing for the coming school year. Our academic classes are taught exclusively by licensed experienced teachers. Campers will be challenged on a daily basis to reach their fullest potential. Come fall, your children will be well ahead of their peers.

In the afternoon, campers participate in fun activities that will expand their horizons. Campers will have the option of choosing traditional activities such as sports and crafts; however, campers may also participate in enriching activities such as Robotics and Fencing.

Campers will choose two activities of which they will alternate from (m/w and t/h). On Fridays, campers will have an exam in the morning and in the afternoon campers will have free-time, which consists of movie time, sports, arts and crafts and other activities.

I have used this provider for more than 6 months

My child has been going to KL Summer Camp for the past 5 years now. We love this camp. It incorporates both academic (ELA and Math) studies in the morning and your choice of extra activities in the afternoon, if you choose the extended day program. It is one of the few camps that allows you multiple options (full day, half day, extended day). Most of the afternoon extra activities, which includes hip hop dance, Chinese dance, kung fu, beading, fencing, basketball, origami, survival skills, just to name a few of the choices. There is an extra charge for the extra classes that require extra materials.

Yes, they are pricey but, you should know, you get what you pay for. I know that my child is happy, monitored and in a safe environment. I look forward to the end of camp performance each summer.

I don't fully understand how a reviewer could provide relevant information on this camp in a review dated July 6, 2017 when he has just enrolled his kids for the 2017 summer camp. Camp started July 5 so he is basing his smear review on one day of camp.

I have used this provider for less than 6 months

I enrolled my children at Kuei Luck for summer program (2017). The staff is so dis-courteous towards parents and students both that I cannot explain it. Esp. their staff Ryan Chen is sadist person who needs training in humane behavior. This is despite the fact that they are charging very high amount (approx. $2,000) for their summer program of only 6 weeks. In addition, they will ask you to provide stationery for day to day working.

They don't take care of your child. The teachers are really disrespectful with class students. Lunch rooms are pathetic and absolute depiction of unhygienic condition. Most of the time, your children will not find any place to sit on and enjoy his /her lunch. Big boys are playing with little kids in the play area and there is lack of control of teachers.

Study material is average. Teacher's quality is also average. They charge extra money for participation in extra curricular activities.

Overall, I don't the summer program at Kuei Luck. In that much money, one can find better options.

Zero Rating.
