Description:
It is the philosophy of Kids at Work Learning Center, that early childhood should be a time of fun, warmth, security, education, exploration and discovery. Kids at Work Learning Center will provide an atmosphere that encourages social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth through the children’s play and small group instruction. The curriculum includes Abeka, My baby can read , dramatic play, creative art activities, music, science activities, block play, sensory experiences, daily outdoor activities, the celebration of birthdays, and holidays. Children will be exposed to shapes, colors, numbers, and letters through developmentally appropriate activities taught using small group instruction.
The first day I brought my child to this facility she was been bullied by another child and nothing was done about it. When I asked her teacher (which is also the Director) why nothing was done about the issue. She insisted that she didn’t see or hear anything so it didn’t happen. This is not our first time being at a daycare. At her previous center, if anything happened her teacher would notify me or send a note home. The Director proceeds to tell the children that they shouldn’t go home telling their parents everything that happens at school. Among many other reasons I decided to pull my child out of the daycare facility.
My daughter is a three year old who very strong willed. Our previous daycare was having trouble working with her because there were so many kids in her class. We also had her potty trained but then she regressed at the other day care. We were having to bring three changes of close a day!
But since we have enrolled her at Kids At Work, we have seen great improvement! Her attitude has become like a normal little girl. She has become happier. She is back on track with her potty use and do not dread picking her up and getting a bad report! We have even stopped expecting a bad day.
We appoecate thier hours and cost scheduals. We would recommend Kids At Work to any hard working parents who are concerned with constantcy with the care your child gets at home.
