I have used this provider for less than 6 months

My 4 year old son was attending this daycare and I would not recommend this place to anyone! I was very alarmed to find bruises on my child's arm and shoulder, he told me that the director yanked his arm to make him sit when he wasn't listening. When I confronted her about the bruises she denied touching him but couldn't come up with an explanation for why he was bruised and hurt on his arm. I will be reporting her and this center to cps. Please beware and ask your children about their treatment at the daycare. I do not believe they have enough staff to watch the children properly. I removed my child immediately after doing more research and seeing other parents complaints and the previous investigations done on this place!

I have used this provider for less than 6 months

Where do I begin with this daycare..
Let me start of by saying that my daughter just recently started going to this school around 4 or 5 weeks ago. She is two years old. I saw the Child Development Center ad on craigslist that was advertising for $100 for childcare a week. I was pretty hesitant at first, but I checked out the school, it seemed clean and well maintained, however after talking to Ms. Burphy (the owner) while registering my daughter, she came off slightly condescending which increased in the later weeks. She had an extremely snobby and superior attitude. Nonetheless, I couldn't afford much else at the time and decided to go through with the process.
I believe a lot of parents bring their kids to this facility because you pay $100 for 6 weeks and then $150 after that which seems very appealing. You also have to put in a two week notice in if you want to withdraw your child.
WITH ALL THAT BEING SAID...
On the first day I brought my daughter, Ms. Burphy didn't give me the code to the door bc she insisted she will give me the code on the first day of payment. I was standing out in the cold with my daughter knocking on the door for awhile while teachers inside can clearly hear me knocking. From the inside a teacher curses and is said "who is that knocking on the door!?" and finally after 5 minutes she opened it for me (it was a bad first start)
Everyday that I brought my child to school, she would be screaming for me, which is normal, but usually stops after a couple of weeks after being warmed up to the facility, and for some reason she never warmed up to anyone here.
She came home with a big scratch on her nose and when I asked why the teacher stated "I just got here, I don't know". and that has been her same response since I got there.... although she has been with my daughter for a substantial amount of time.
When you give them a stack of diapers they will run out less than a week, which tells me they either don't take the kids to the potty or are very wasteful.
The last straw for me is when I picked my child up from daycare two weeks ago and while in the building A MALE WAS KNOCKING ON THE DOOR OF THE DAYCARE WITH SOMEONE ELSE'S CHILD SAYING THAT THE BACK GATE OF THE PLAYGROUND WAS WIDE OPEN AND A COUPLE OF CHILDREN WAS RUNNING OUT INTO THE PARKING LOT. WHEN THE MAN RETURNED THE CHILD HE WAS VERY UPSET AND CONCERED FOR THE CHILDREN OUT IN THE STREET AND THE TEACHER HAD ABSOLUTELY NO RESPONSE TO HIM WHILE STUTTERING AND RAN TO TELL MS BURPHY TO TELL THE OTHER TEACHER OUTSIDE WHO WAS SUPPOSED TO BE WATCHING THE CHILDREN TO CLOSE THE GATE.
I put in my two weeks right then, now this week was supposed to be my daughter's last week here. she already had a cold and was coughing some when I dropped her off and come to find out that today when I picked her up on 2/14/19 around 3:30-4:00 p.m. ALL OF THE CHILDREN WERE OUTSIDE WITHOUT THEIR COATS ON. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM! THIS MORNING I HEARD KIDS COUGHING, SO I KNOW THAT MY CHILD ISNT THE ONLY ONE THAT WAS SICK! When I asked one of the teachers of the two year old room, she said that she wanted their coats to be on, but her request got denied by another teacher. And the sun was going down and was getting colder around that time. There was ABSOLUTELY NO SUN, ONLY SHADED AREAS WHEN I PICKED UP MY DAUGHTER. Also, she has a scratch on the side of her face due to fighting over a toy that didn't look like it was tended to, NO BANDAID, NO PEROXIDE, NO NOTHING. I do not recommend this daycare to anyone at all, you literally get what you pay for here. My daughter was in the two year old room and I felt bad brining her here every single day. TRUST ME, YOUR CHILD DESERVES BETTER! The parents that bring their children here either don't know, don't care or don't realize what is going on. PARENTS OBSERVE THE BEHAVIOR HERE, OBSERVE HOW YOUR CHILD IS BEING TREATED AND ACTING AND ASK QUESTIONS!!!
