Description: We are a new social-constructivist preschool located in the Hollywood Media District of Los Angeles.
We believe each child possesses miraculous abilities and unique forms of intelligence. Our project based approach is built upon children’s interests, which we discover through observation as well as reflection between teachers, children and parents. This focus on children’s unique ideas empowers them on their life-long journey to become self-motivated problem solvers. Our serene setting provides a backdrop for children’s exploration and discovery. We provide many hands-on experiences with nature and artistic expression to expand childern's understanding of the world. Our teachers document children’s growth by maintaining portfolios of their “work”. We track their interactions with the environment and with peers. The teaching of literacy, science, art and math is woven into a variety of projects and other daily activities in the classroom and art studio.
