I went here from when I was born till fifth grade and I hated it I especially remember being physically punished . I remember mrs.sylvia pulling me by my ear when I would misbehave. And I remember coming in,in the mornings and seeing grumpy angry kids being thrown across mrs Barbra's (used to be the head person) lap on their stomach for up to 20 minutes until they calmed down. I also remember not taking a nap one day and my pillow was taken and given to a kid that had forgot their pillow. It got better the older I got especially during the summer we took the best field trips with miss laura

My daughter has been attending Geer since fall 2011. She began in Mrs. Sharon's room (infants/crawlers), moved to Mrs. Linda's room (walkers), Miss Kelly's room (2's), and is now ins Mrs. Sylvia's room (3's). She has absolutely loved going to "school" everyday and talks about going to see her teachers and her friends. She has been well loved and well taken care of. Her teachers have been attentive to her needs and kept me well informed. I love that she gets in the car in the afternoons talking about what she has learned and singing songs from class and chapel time. I also have a hard time believing the post from 2011 about Mrs. Sylvia allowing a child outside without shoes or socks who was sick. She is a firm believer in positive reinforcement and would never treat a child this way. I would recommend Geer to anyone seeking a Christian daycare for their children. They will be able to feel confident their children will be well taken care of.

My son has went to Geer for about 2 years now. He loves it and I love taking him there every day. Everyone is so friendly and my child has learned so much. More like a school than a daycare facilty. Where he went previously all they did was keep them outside even in the winter and he stayed sick. Mrs. Sylvia was my sons teacher until recently and she was such a blessing. I could tell a huge difference in his learning. He misses Mrs Sylvia and I cant say enough positive things about Geer would recommend to anyone.

I have gone here, and have out grown the after school program. I think this place is awesome! They have werid policies of desipline ,but don't physically touch. They have wonderful teachers and is a great place to make new friends. I hope you will decide to take your child here.

Please do not send your child/children to this daycare. My youngest son just turned 3 and his teacher was Mrs.Sylvia. My husband had to go and pick him up one day early b/c he was sick, It was cold outside and he found him outside barefooted, no socks no shoes. She was not going to help him put his socks on b/c she said that all he wanted was for someone to feel sorry for him. Then I found out from my 3 yr old that Mrs.Slyvia was pulling his ear and that he had to go to the back of the line. From my 3 yr old!!! I didn't give permission for them to do this to my child as a punishment. I hope other parents wouldn't either, If you love your kids you wouldn't send them to this daycare, I have called DSS and other places to see what can be done so other kids wan't get treated like my son did. PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE!!!
