What a complete nightmare this church “Learning Center” was for me and my family. We enrolled our child because of the good reputation it has in town without knowing that leadership changed hands at the same time as us starting. It is now being ran by the new director, Patricia Keaney and the church “Board of Directors”, Patricia Williams - neither of which have any business working with children. From day one it was unorganized chaos every time we entered the building. No one is there in the front when you drop off/pick up so you have to hunt down where to bring your child or where they are at the end of the day. Patricia Keaney runs around frantic, completely unaware of what’s going on around her. She lacks the personal skills, compassion, communication, integrity, and above all - KNOWLEDGE - needed to be in charge of children. Please don’t make the same mistake we did in believing this daycare is what it was in the past. Our child is now at a new facility and THRIVING. A complete day and night difference. These people are just there to profit at the expense of our children, unfortunately. I hope for the sake of the children that are still there that they get rid of the incompetent and unstable director, Patricia Keaney, and find someone with the experience needed to turn it around - which seems like an impossible feat considering the state it’s in currently.
I have worked their for 8 years or more and have always been consistent and I was treated wrong . We have had the best boss in the past but I cannot say the same for the one that is in now ,,, I worked with the toddlers and it was going great , they decided to take other children from a day care that was closing and maxed us out so they took toddlers from me without talking to me or asking me , the boss never said a word to me until the end , then I got the 2s and then again they were taken from me without notice , she didn't tell me or talk to me ,, and also I think it is wrong to bribe someone that has kids in another day care to take their kids out of the one they are in to bring them to this one and to bribe the new workers by telling them if you come work over here we will pay you so much money and of course it's more money than the regular workers and its unfair .. they won't give raises because they can't stop spending money on things they don't need , example.. we have never had a custodian and they hired one till he had to go back to school so they hired another one , they go to the grocery store everyday, but the kids are not getting the food on the menu , when I was their last week they had nuggets for 3 or 4 days ,, it's not about the kids anymore it's all about the money the reason I know is because the so called boss ( Patricia) was talking about how much money they were gonna make .. so you people that's got your kids in the day care it's not the same and they are not worried bout your kids it's the money ,, the day care is not getting cleaned any more the dishes in the kitchen stays piled up after lunch and floors and bathrooms are awful , the bathroom hasn't had paper towels for 3 days in a row when I was their .. I have texted Patricia last Friday and today asking for a copy of my check stubs because I cannot get online to see them anymore since the change and to find out she blocked me .. this really use to be a good place to work but not anymore ,, but if you want ro improve then you better get rid of Patricia and stop letting the board control it ,, it's going down people.. the bathrooms usually has trash all in it and the laundry is overloaded ,, I'm sorry for saying anything but if she would have just sent me a copy of my check stub it would not have happened... I'm not happy with the dc anymore
