To whom it may concern,
I wanted to share firsthand knowledge that a local area daycare, Elite Children's Academy 23253 W Renwick Rd, in Plainfield, IL is currently under investigation by DCFS.Elite is currently under investigation by DCFS. REMOVE YOUR CHILDREN RIGHT AWAY PLEASE THEY ARE NOT SAFE!!! Allegations include incidents not being reported to parents and lack of proper staff for the amount of children they have on a daily basis. This was a very serious incident that allegedly occurred, a 3 year old child pulled down another 3 year old’s pull up and stuck their finger in the child's butt. Allegedly, an Assistant Teacher notified Ms. Casteel who in turn told Ms. Mcnulty but the parents were NOT notified and the incident was covered up by Ms. Mcnulty. This same Assistant Teacher was fired the next day!! They are also having licensing issues from what I have dug up on them. They don't follow the proper guidelines and serve children food from Aldi grocery store to cut corners and save money. Countless times I personally witnessed Teachers driving the bus to nearby Aldi during school hours. Who was with the children then? When confronted with this information Ms. Mcnulty and her staff were VERY EVASIVE and acting like it was no big deal.
For the love of god do not send your children here. The food is frozen and processed some made days before it is served to the children. There is program is out dated from 1980's. Children are bored all day long and are made to sing and dance also they do the same exact thing everyday. They are forced to go out in the 90 degree heat with not efficient amounts of water. The management tell lies about curriculum taught and children are not able to defend themselves from the mean teachers who push them around.
I feel so blessed to have found the perfect place for my children while I am at work. They say there is no place like home, but it doesn't get any better than Elite Children's Academy. The teachers and the rest of the staff are so kind and caring. My children are learning so many new things everyday. They come home with their beautiful works of art and new songs that they love to sing. They are so excited to tell me about the new friends they have met and the fun that they have in school each day. The school has special days with pony rides, apple picking and special visits from the fire department. Elite Children's Academy is everything you could ever want or need in a school and more. I want to say thank you to all of the staff at Elite Children's Academy for taking such wonderful care of my children and giving me the peace of mind while I am at work knowing they are safe and happy while learning at school.
