Description: Preschool students attend two or three days per week in the morning or afternoon. They learn motor skills, safe and healthy behaviors, problem solving skills, early mathematical and literacy concepts, self-awareness, social and interpersonal skills, and self-regulation of behavior. Students are taught in Spanish and English and benefit from having skilled retirees volunteer in the classroom. In addition, all preschool students receive free, on-site health and dental screenings twice each year, and preschool parents may take advantage of the medical, social and educational services offered at the Wellness Center located on the El Sol campus.
