I love this day care! Both of my kids attend this school. Janine provides a safe space for learning and exploration. She encourages curiosity and creativity. I've seen my kids make leaps and bounds from attending this school.

This is not a daycare like mosts where they simply babysit your kids. At Little Leaders there is a set curriculum and the kids learn so much. The space also creates interaction among the kids and the types of activities instill such a sense of confidence within them.

I also love that Janine creates weekly themes such as outer space, friendship, animals etc. It's super cool when your two year old comes home telling you about how Polar Bears live in the Arctic and Lions and Giraffes live in Africa.

Janine is so great with the kids and teaches uses positive reinforcement. She is also flexible and rearranges her lessons to where the kids are at and what their interests are.

Also, there is a separate space just for the infants to play. They also definitely her to interact with the older kids, but it's great they have their own space too.

One little thing to keep in mind is this is a home day care - and as with any home day care, you sometimes need to be flexible with summer break and other breaks as well. But they are great about giving lots of notice prior to the dates.

I would give this day care 10 stars if I could. At school my kids feel confident and loved and appreciated by their teachers and their friends. That's really all a parent could want!

I can't say enough positive things about Little Leaders. I have been sending my one son for over 2 years and now I am sending my second son!
Little leaders is so much more then a family daycare. They focus on age appropriate learning, play, healthy life style habits and each child gets personal attention. They respect the kids and the kids respect them in return.
Each week there is a special focus ie: animals, space, grocery shopping, spirit week.
The director is organized and puts so much effort into lesson planning for all the age groups.
I only wish that Little Leaders extended until Kindergarten!!

I have used this provider for more than 6 months

We have been happily sending our child to Little Leaders Family Daycare for more than two years. We are extremely pleased with this daycare, which provides a safe, fun learning experience.

Little Leaders has a structured environment, with circle time, outdoor play, designated snack & lunch, and quiet time/nap time. When we arrive, our child is happy to run in and greet friends, and when we pick up our child, there's often a reluctance to leave. The school is always clean and well-organized.

We love the fact that this learning center has a variety of educational themes, depending on the week/month. The students are currently learning about outer space (planets and rocket ships) and the center is set up with a rocket control center and a climb-in rocket ship! There are also weeks devoted to sports, floor puzzles, grocery shopping, water play, planet earth, zoo animals, etc. Our child often shares what the kids are learning at school, and it's pretty amazing.

As the school has grown, the director has arranged for enriching activities for various age groups: preschool; toddlers; and infants. The themes are similar, but each age group is challenged by different tasks (preschoolers learn the names of planets & characteristics, toddlers play with space slime, infants are doing floor toys nearby). The meals/snacks are healthy, and parents get the menu for the week ahead of time (food allergies are considered during menu planning).

The kids often go on a supervised walk around the neighborhood, exploring, looking for bugs, and spraying neighbors' plants with little water bottles. On warm days, they get to play in the sprinklers on the back deck. We also really like the online blog/journal, so all the parents can see photos from each day at school.

Our child loves learning, and this school, and we are very fortunate to be connected to Little Leaders.
