Dream on Family Child Care will focus on providing quality care and a nurturing atmosphere that your child deserves. We have a full range of activities such as outside play, stories, dramatic play, arts, crafts, music and learning activities to develop the full potential of the children. Our goal is to provide a safe and happy learning environment for each child, which will stimulate their physical, intellectual, social and emotional growth at their own pace. We offer loving care that focuses on each child as a unique and wonderful individual to build self-esteem and respect for others.
Meal time: Meals provided by Dream on child Care, except if the child needs to be feed by formula. We provide regular Milk.
Yummy time:
•Breakfast: include pancake, toast, oatmeal, cereal with fruit, egg, and milk.
•Lunch: White rice with beans, pork chop with beans or soup with meat or fish and vegetables (cucumber, tomatoes, broccoli, carrots, etc…) Just Friday: tacos, Lasagna, pizza, hamburger with oven fries.
•Snack: fruits, yogurt with crackers, milk, etc
*Just Friday: bakery as cupcake or ice cream
***Please advise if the child is allergic to any food. *** **Protein one or twice meal, multigrain and veggies one meal, Milk and fruits twice a day **
Activities:
• Feel the music: Classes include piano, Kids will learn to read notes and singing (educational songs or childhood songs). Acting class will be once a week based on the book we read during the week.
• Painting and drawing my world: Once a week kids will be free to paint and draw anything they want and in the next class they will paint and draw following patterns.
• I just love to Bake: Bakery classes include helping to prepare simple food (cupcakes, ice cream, pizza) Example: decorate a cupcake, assist to put all ingredient in the bowl, or putting the topping that you like in your pizza.
• My Favorite movie: Each Friday kids will pick a movie to watch.
• Play time on my own way: Kids will play and share time together in order to learn how to interact with each other.
• Free time for fun: Kids can do whatever they want (read book, play with the toys).
• Up and Down: Walking and dancing classes in order to keep kids healthy and in movement to avoid laziness (can be inside if weather condition does not meet the requirement which includes 35 minimum in winter and 85 maximum in summer). After exercise, we will meditation for 15 minutes to relax with breathing and stretching exercises.
• Sweet dream: Naps are not mandatory if a kid decides not to rest and their parents are in agreement with it, kids can read a book while other kids are sleeping.
• Every day we are learning: Kids will learn new words, numbers, letters, shapes, colors, and much more with interactive activities which will help them to have fun while still learning; this is the best way to keep children motivated in learning. The activities will include painting shapes, toys rainbows, matching colors and patterns, Velcro stick shapes, sort blocks by color and shape, number road, sensory art with numbers, shapes or letters, and more...
• I love to Read my book: Twice a week children will pick a book that I will read to them and once a week we will incorporate that book in acting class to make it more fun.
• Fresh time: This time include diapering, washing their hands, potty training, and brushing child’s teeth (always after lunch).
