I have used this provider for less than 6 months

I would give this place 0 if i could, first of all i had a decent experience overall. The last week my daughter was bit more than three times, when i raised hell and told her i was taking my daughter out of their, she snapped. She did this infront of my daughter and my wife. She called me names, which was uncalled for. She then stated that she was going to call the cops, which she did and filed a false police report. Took us to court, in which she never showed up and it was thrown out. Overall this woman is a psycho and shouldnt be around children. I am a resident and upstanding member of my community and she shouldnt be in buisness. Oh by the way, her teenage son was caught masterbating upstairs while children were downstairs...

I could type a bible on why this daycare is awful. But let me just give you the basics. My son is allergic to milk, and they had a doctor's note in every room stating that he could only have lactose free milk. I found out one day the was being given regular milk for WEEKS. He was broken out all over. Then the director told me that it wasn't a big deal and that he's fine. She said "he would have been having diarrhea and blow outs if he was allergic. I'm a nurse, I know." I said "Well then you know those are signs of being LACTOSE INTOLERANT! He's not lactose intolerant. HES ALLERGIC!" He was sick for weeks because his immune system was crap due to being given so much milk. I'm in the process of suing. No one messes with my baby.

The above posts have me SPEECHLESS because they are ALL LIES. If you were looking for cheaper daycare then find a Cheaper one don't lie why you left.

You're upsat bc you have to do extra laundry bc the daycare changed your childs clothing bc of a BLOW OUT? Come on thats just Lazy! You say your child buttocks were hanging out of his diapers when you picked him up...Hint' hint BUY BIGGER DIAPERS! OMG what's wrong with people!

To the ex employee if you saw things Wrong why didn't you call DHS AND REPORT IT! Do you Not realize that you are JUST AS GUILTY AS ANYONE ELSE THAT SAW THIS KNEW OF THIS. I'm glad your type of employee is gone bc if you saw abuse would you tell or keep quite and say Nothing until you Quit!

To the person that said the owner was verbally abusive /agressive....Seriously WHAT DID YOU DO OR SAY FOR HER OR ANYONE ELSE FOR THAT MATTER TO BECOME ABUSIVE WITH YOU? Tell the Truth Why would ANYONE get abusive if you DID NOTHING WRONG!?

I admit No daycare is perfect and this one may not be either but i wouldn't trade it for the world! My child has gone there since he was 8 weeks old and he will go to kindergarten next year. These folks have helped me raise my son and am forever THANKFUL FOR THAT! Stop slandering this business bc you had one issue. Btw they do post Closings on the Front entrance door sign in sheet and each classroom. Stop and read them! As a teacher myself I do know the State of AR require them togo to school and take Special Courses, I've been at MANY WITH THEM. Tonie the owner stays on top of educating her staff!

One final thing, SLANDER IS A CRIME NOT FREEDOM OF SPEECHWHEN YOU STATING THINGS ABOUT A BUSINESS OR PERSON THAT CAN CAUSE HARDSHIP! The owners brother in law is a Lawyer & I know she has a parent that's a Lawyer who's kids attend her daycare so WATCH OUT! Besides thete are cameras in Every Room, WHO HOLDS THE TRUTH THE CAMERAS OR YOU?

Thanks Cotton candy for a JOB WELL DONE!7

I used this daycare for a few weeks and had several problems but the biggest problem by far was that they are closed so often and I was not warned ahead of time. Although I asked several times, I could not get them to give me a calendar of the days/times they would be closed and once I was told on Friday evening when I picked up my child that they would be closed the following Monday and once I was told that morning that they would close two hours early. I have no one to fill in as a babysitter and I'm on a new job so this was a Huge problem for me. Also i would bring big packages of diapers that would last at LEAST a week and she would come home in new born diapers and i would be told she was out of diapers. EVERY DAY for a week strait she had blow outs because they wouldnt put her diaper on correct. how i know is because i would get her home and her crack would be hanging out or her butt cheek cause they wouldnt fasten the diaper good enough or it would be extremely crooked to one side!! im a single mom who has to go to a laundromat to do laundry... i cant wash my daughters blown out laundry every day to make sure her clothes wouldnt stain. they just seemed very fake. they would be SUPER friendly when i dropped her off but id pick her up and they wouldnt be able to find her socks, bow, shoes, nose thing for when she had a cold. they didnt seem very organized at all. i would pick her up and the lady would be watching several older kids while they had her bottle propped up on a blanket feeding her not paying any attention to her! i found a cheaper better day care immediately none the less.

There is no way this business should still be running. I was verbally assaulted and slandered by the owner simply for removing my child from her daycare. I was called a "fat asshole" while she was holding a 5 month year old girl, she then stated she was on the phone with a police officer and told them i threatened her with bodily harm while she had infant in her arms. This woman should not be running a daycare. I filed a police report and they said my only option is to take her to small claims court, and that nobody had called and filed a report. She is a liar and mentally unstable. I warn every parent out there.

I used to work at this daycare and I feel responsible to warn parents about this daycare. The only reason I gave it 1 star was because zero wasn't an option. This center is EXTREMELY under staffed! During "drop off" hours it may not appear that way but during the day ud be surprised. I was once left with 5 infants and 8 toddlers for over 5 hours by myself! How is that safe? There was a wall separating the two ages so in order to get to the other side I had to open doors....what happens in case a child was choking and I'm not able to get there ASAP because of a half wall and a door? Of course I complained but I was only told of I couldn't handle it then they could find someone else. So I left. They walls all say what the toddlers are feed and what they do daily. That's a lie! She doesn't not follow those guidelines at all! And teachers are not given the tools necessary to. Be cautious of this daycare and of ur kids already go there I advise you to show up occasionally unannounced to make sure they are doing what they tell u they do. Some may say I'm just bitter cause I don't work there anymore but that is far from the truth. I left voluntarily and I'm only writing this for the sake of the kids. But to each their own.

There is only one word that will fit to describe this place.... GREAT! Ive just moved here from New York and visited almost everydaycare in Fort Smith and Van bren and I must admit it was the BEST place Ive ever seen! Daycare at home arent this clean and child friendly. Love the Log Cabin building. The owner was so nice and warm and she's a Nurse too! My baby is 9 months old so that made me happy to know.

@ John its funny that you complain about them using too many diapers and wipes. We as parents should be glad our kids are changed frequently and sitting in their own feces! Give me break! Ill take some in for you and have u not noticed that the economy is BAD! Our daycares in NY are losing kids to! Most of them are closing down. This is a GOOD place, dont put it down over diapers. Rules change everyday, we hav eto learn to change WITH them! :0

Our son has been going to this daycare for over six months. When he first started out there everything was great. My wife and I were both very happy with the owner and his teachers. Since that time we have not been very happy with the level of service that we as parents have been getting. The owner seems to be changing the rules almost every week. We are asked to bring diapers and wipes and we do. The very next day we are asked again. How can a child go through 30 diapers and a box of wipes in one day? We have been noticing a steady decrease in the amount of kids from some time.

My son is two years old. He has gone to Cotton Candie for three months. I am extremely happy both with how he is treated and how much he is learning. He has homework twice a week. We color, cut out and paste an alphabet letter to construction paper two times during the week. This is expanding his attention span, teaching him to use scissors and giving him the foundation to accept that homework is sometimes a part of life. I'm very happy with this day care.
