Description: The mission of the Early Childhood Associate Program is to prepare early childhood educators for careers in working with young children and families. Reflecting on NAEYC’s Code of Ethics, students will integrate knowledge and understanding with practice in diverse childcare environments. The Early Childhood Program focuses on students’ understanding of theories of child development, knowledge of children’s social, emotional, cognitive and physical development and the utilizing of developmentally appropriate practices.
