Summary:
On Monday, December 30th, 2019 an investigation was initiated by the Porterville Police Department, addressing allegations that Jose Luis Caballero Cortez had sexually abused children in his care. Caballero and his wife operate a licensed daycare in Porterville, Caballero Family Child Care and have done so for twenty-two years. Further investigation by Porterville Police Detectives supported the allegations, confirming a female juvenile victim and identifying multiple witnesses to the assaults. Due to the sensitivity of the allegations, the ages of the involved children nor timeframe of the assaults are being released.
On Monday, January 6th, 2020 at approximately 7:30 AM, Jose Luis Cortez Caballero was arrested at the daycare facility, without incident, and booked into the custody of the Tulare County Sheriff on multiple counts of child molestation. Our Department is working closely with the California Community Care Licensing Division, who is conducting their own investigation as well.

Only reason I'm writing this is to inform people the owner of this Licensed Childcare was arrested for molesting a child or children here on or around Jan 6th 2020. Husband and wife own it. Nothing was said about the wife so if she didnt have knowledge I feel really bad for her.
