I have used this provider for less than 6 months

After a negative daycare experience, we met Denise with high hopes. She assured us that our child would be loved and taken care of. Everything seemed great and our child was flourishing in her care. We were beginning to think of Denise as an extension of our family and simply adored her. We were sad we hadn't found her sooner. We were never given any indication that our child was misbehaving out of the norm for a child their age and then one day everything seemed to have flipped. Our child was over tired and had a less than stellar day, but it wasn't anything out of the norm. Denise threatened our child that they would be sent back to the old daycare if the behavior continued. Denise offered this information to me, not seeing apparently how this was an inappropriate way to deal with a 4 year old. I later sent her an email addressing the behavior issues of that day and how we would work to address them at home. I also mentioned that her threatening my child made me uncomfortable and that I would prefer those conversations were had with me. I in no way was rude, condescending or looking to cause trouble. We adored Denise as did our child. She had given us every indication that she felt the same about all of us. She never responded to the email and then the next day sent a text telling us we were no longer welcome there. She refused to communication on any level, wouldn't answer/return calls, emails, etc. She refused to give us an answer as to why. There was zero line of communication. Quite honestly, we felt duped. She is clearly not the person we were lead to believe she is. She does put on a front that she is caring and devoted. Even after begging for an explanation and letting her know what a horrible position this was putting our family in, she still refused to even respond to me. I would hate more than anything to put another family through what we went through with her. She hurt us, and she hurt our child. Our child still doesn't understand why she's no longer allowed to be there. We feel we must have dodged a bullet with her and believe everything happens for a reason. Denise Bosse claims to be a religious God fearing woman. She centers much of her teaching around the bible, however, she does not practice what she preaches which is terribly sad. Unless your child is perfect 100% of the time and you never, ever would have any reason to need to speak to her about possible issues, I would never recommend you sending your child to her. Our child is in a much better situation that is getting them ready to attend school. The teachers constantly remark how well behaved, a great listener, kind and respectful my child is. They also can't imagine anyone wanting to remove us from their program. Denise is in the wrong line of work. While I feel bad having to write this, I do not want anyone to have to go through what we went through with her. It's been many months now, and we are all still feeling the hurt from what she did to us.
