MY CHILDERN HAVE BEEN THERE OF ALMOST 2 WEEKS. I AM PULLING THEM COME MONDAY. MY YOUGEST CHILD ENDED UP WITH A CUT AND IT WAS SAID " A TOY HIT THE CHILD" NO WAY!!! MY OLDEST CHILD HAS CAME HOME WITH A BIG BURSE ON HIS LEG FROM A CHILD HITTING HIM! THEY JUST LET THE CHILDERN RUN AROUND CRAZY. THE STAFF SEEM NICE IN PERSON, BUT WHEN MY FRIEND WENT TO PICK UP HER KIDS, SHE SAW A STAFF MEMBER GRABBING THE CHILDS ARM VERY ROUGH. THIS DAYCARE SOULD NOT BE OPEN AND I WISH I NEVER TOOK MY KIDS THERE. AS A PARENT, YOU WANT YOUR KIDS HAPPY AND YOU WANT THEM SAFE WHEN THEY ARE NOT IN YOUR HANDS. WELL NOT IN THIS CASE. MY KIDS COME HOME UNHAPPY, CRYING OR UPSET WHEN I PICK THEM UP. MY KIDS ARE ALWAYS HAPPY WHEN I PICK THEM UP. SMILING, BUT NOT HERE... PLEASE CHOOSE ANOTHER CHILD CARE PROVIDER. I GIVE THIS DAYCARE A -1000. THE TWO OTHER COMMENTS BELOW. YES, THEY ARE CORRECT. EVERY WORD OF IT!!!
Director is the worst I've ever seen! She yells not only at her staff, but also the kids. She is never taking care of the kids, only delegating every time I walk in, if she's there at all. The facility itself is dirty and poorly managed. I've seen babies that are sick there among the healthy kids and have seen staff sick and then being around the kids for hours. The food looks horrible and the staff, for the most part,are rude and have attitude. I will be pulling my child out and I'm sure the state will be contacted and involved very soon! Do not take your children here!
If I could, I would rate a 0. The dicector find anyway she can to save money, including not cleaning carpets for months, putting ground beans in her MEAT loaf, even though the state food program covers the food. Rather than fix I hole in the wall of the toddler room, she would get her nails done, and the hole was then for over 8 months. Most for the learning toys don't even work, and very few were even whole with all of the pieces. As for her staff, she has no idea how to treat them, and if she doesn't like you- not because of how you work, but because you wouldn't put up with her blatant disregard to state regulations, she will fire you. She is only in business due to only cleaning up RIGHT BEFORE the state shows up. She tries to say the the "pee" smell is from the bathroom potty trainers, but it is really from the carpets and bathrooms not getting cleaned right. Head lice, all the time. The nap bedding is rarely washed and is shared by different children DAILY. Rather than teach the children how to use chairs, she would rather let them sit out in the hallway, to avoid the hassle of the children dragging them arould . And the oldern children, 3-4 and school agers run amuck most of the afternoon, she even let's her grandson run the whole building, rather than being in a class room. Please don't trust her withyour kids! My friend had her little boy there at one time and he had a peanut allergy, and within less than a week was given I PEANUT BUTTER COOKIE at snack. Another friend picked her child up everyday to find her in a wet pull up when she worn underwear, rather than work with a potty trainer, she would rather through on a pull up. Just ask around, people will tell you, worst day care ever!
