I felt that the staff look at your pocket before anything. I registered my two kids in this school for drop in once a week. For the baby 7 months, he was not clean and had scratches on his tommy, after that I stopped dropping my kid. Also, they arevacting wiered when parents come, they quickly make phone to the class and tell them to be ready! Teady for what!!. Also the staff look exhausted, not clean, long nails, I didnt like the smell. Not recommended at all.
Our toddler had a very positive experience at this school. The teachers were kind, the classes small, and their facilities are excellent.
Recently (April 2014) the director of this school and one of the teachers were cited by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services for having used inappropriate punishment and restraint on children under their care. Despite this fact HCC (the college under which this school operates) has chosen to put the director back in place.
This on top of the fact that they LOST their N.A.E.Y.C. accreditation last year as well as having their Head Start program taken away from them under questionable circumstances should tell you a lot about the school without more needing to be said.
