- Build relationships with the residents by practicing with them basic skills such as asking permission, accepting feedback, following instructions, etc.
- Supervise boys as they attend virtual school and complete work.
- Help residents maintain a clean room and a clean home by encouraging them to complete chores.
- Practice disagreement skills and accepting consequences skills when upset with others.
- Engage the boys in outdoor sports, workouts, board games, video games, creative activities, movies etc.
- Assist in meal preparation and supervise boys in kitchen clean-up.
- Administer medication in the morning, evening and as needed.
- Document boys behaviors in daily log, staff group chat and critical incident reports.
- Transport boys to daily activities, doctor appointments, etc as needed.
- Be willing to learn new things and have energy to engage teen boys.
- Other relevant duties as needed.
- Must be at least 21 years old
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related field preferred.
- Experience in counseling, social work or group home preferred.
- Must be CPR trained and comfortable administering first aid. (We offer CPR training)
