Lead Teachers
Each group of children in the center has a Lead Teacher. Lead Teachers are responsible for the day to day tasks in their classroom as well as ensuring the active supervision of the children at all times. Lead Teachers must ensure compliance with all Kentucky State Regulations in accordance with the Cabinet of Health and Family Services and DRCC. Each Lead Teacher has a minimum of a high school diploma, GED, or CCCC and 15 or more Early Childhood training hours. Lead Teachers must handle all lessons, activities, paperwork, and programming for their classroom.
Assistant Teachers
At times classrooms may have an Assistant Teacher. This individual will help the Lead Teacher in all that they do. Assistant Teachers must ensure compliance with all Kentucky State Regulations in accordance with the Cabinet of Health and Family Services and DRCC. Assistant Teachers must have a minimum of a high school diploma, GED, or CCCC and 15 or more Early Childhood training hours. At times an Assistant Teacher may take over a classroom in the absence of a Lead Teacher. Assistant Teachers must also ensure the active supervision of all the children at all times.
Minimal applicant requirements are;
High School Diploma, GED, CCCC, or other educational credit.
Negative TB skin test results.
Pediatric CRP and First Aid certification.
The applicant must be willing to undergo a background check with the State of Kentucky and any state the applicant has lived in prior.
