My goals and philosophy I encourage children to use their words to express their thoughts and feelings and to practice skills thru play to gain independence. I try to incorporate as many child directed activities in a day as possible. I believe children learn best thru play I use a play based environment with a loosely scheduled day. Some of our activities are child lead, some are guided. I try to have snacks, lunch, and naps all about the same time every day. I provide 2 snacks, breakfast and lunch. I do not provide diapers, wipes, formula or jar baby food. We like to play outside, explore our world and community, take walks and go on age appropriate outings.

Not everyone learns in the same way but rest assured, our staff will work together to help your child achieve their personal and education goals.
I am a grandmother of 11 children. I rasied two of my grandsons. I love children and my home is like going to grandma's house.
We believe that children should be provided with a safe, nurturing, learning environment that foster's each child's individual growth and development. Every activity is a learning experience and we feel that children learn best when they are interested and having fun. We as educators believe that an effective curriculum needs to be wide-ranging, integrated, and inclusive. It is child centered and child directed. Our curriculum allows us to incorporate the many different learning styles and promotes physical, emotional, cognitive and social development of each child. We believe that children should always receive respect, encouragement and understanding.
