Description: YWCA is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all. The YWCA of the City of New York was launched in 1858, based on an idea developed in London a few years earlier. DON'T PUT YOUR CHILDREN HERE!! If you want your children to be safe and to learn, this is not the program for them. The staff has nasty attitudes and they treat our kids like garbage. On top of all that, they take the donations parents give and sell them to the kids. The director is there but lets her staff run the program as if they are the directors. Do your kids a favor and do not put them in here.
