About the Provider

Description: We believe children learn best by interacting and exploring the world around them. Through their daily experiences in our care, we help them understand better the world in which they live. By our words, actions, and the activities we plan, we facilitate a desire and excitement for learning and growth. Worst daycare ever! Leaving kids alone and not sending sick kids home even in this pandemic! Treats their employees like crap! This place needs shut down!

This place will drain any employee who has a passion for caring of children. The management is not to be trusted. Avoid this location at all cost.

I love working with children, with that in mind the way this location is run drained me to the point I had to leave. Management does not care for their employees, they are seen as nothing but tools. When I was hired I was hired at 80 hours a pay period, shortly after I was hired my hours went from 80 a pay period to 72 a pay period to 30 a pay period. Before I left my hours were barely cracking 10 hours a pay period.

I would constantly ask for more hours, I have a family to support and I would be constantly told that "we can't give you more hours, we are strapped as is". Then as soon as I would leave the managements office she would have people coming in for interviews. If I couldn't get any extra hours I feel that it is morally wrong to hire people when you can't even give your employees the hours they were promised when accepting the job.

Management prefers to keep the amount of workers low that way she can have them do the jobs of multiple people. I was hired to assist in two classrooms as an assistant and by the time I left I was punished by management being relegated to not even working with children instead being kept in empty rooms scrubbing floors, scrubbing walls, cleaning dishes, taking garbage out. Keep in mind, I was hired to directly assist teachers. My last day was the most tense of any job I ever had, I entered and when I said good morning as I always did all I got was a cold glare from the management. I understand workers leaving is a stressful time but I was hoping for a little respect. Each and every day I would come in with a smile on my face I never gave any problems I would give my best and I was hoping to expect a friendly "Thank you"

When I alerted the management about dangers on the playground during a staff meeting I was literally told by the management "Oh well, they won't do that again if they get hurt." When I heard this I literally knew that children aren't the top priority of the management at this location of Wee Care Daycare. I would be scolded as a child for incidents that weren't even in my control, the management also would take great pleasure in telling their workers to do something then when she would come in to observe the class she'd yell at specific employees in private for not doing what she wanted. I was admonished by the management for not taking out the garbage. When I got into work that day I asked what she would like me to do and I was told to do she told me to do whatever the lead teacher in one of the classrooms said, around the 12pm timeframe she came in and had me come with her into the office, I figured she needed me to do something, when I got into her office she slammed the door causing me to startle. I deal with PTSD so any real loud noise that's not expected causes me to jump. Not only was the door slamming bad enough she started to yell at me about not taking out the garbage, I told her that I wasn't told to do the garbage. She then accused me of outright lying to her. I then told her that I was told to do what the lead in the classroom asked and she then continued to call me a liar. That day I realized that I would never move up in this company.

I want to make it known I loved working with the children, I loved my coworkers. It's the management, from what I heard the management of this location is supposed to be related to the ownership of this entire company. If that is the case then maybe she should be removed from her position because as of my time working there she reminds me of a virtual bully without any form of restraint due to who she is related to.

If you are reading this please look elsewhere for any employment, this location will drain any hope you have in you. I love working with kids but I have family to feed and house and I couldn't do that on barely 2 hours a day if I'm lucky enough.

That's why this location gets 1 star.

I wish that I could give this business a good review, but I can't. Our child was in the facility for one week and managed to get a black eye at the playground because the care-takers were not paying attention. Also, the bathrooms were never clean, nor were the classrooms. When dealing with the management, the customer service gives the parent the feeling that the parent is a marginal role, and neither mom or dad is appreciated there. I'm happy to have pulled our child out of that negative environment.
