We believe that children leam and grow when they are provided with anaffectionate and accepting environment. Our goal is to help children increase habits ofobservation, questioning, and listening. In order to develop a positive self-image, webelieve children should be free to express their feelings. We teach the children that everychoice has a consequence so that hopefully they will make positive choices. Weencourage the children to use their intellectual and creative abilities. We hope that theywill develop friendships as they leam the "golden rule" - to treat others as they wouldlike to be treated. We want them to value the importance of play since that is wherelearning begins.
