Temple Head Start was the start of both of my children’s education. Both have graduated a long time ago.
My son is now 26, graduated from Western Illinois University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering with a GPA 3.6, and now is a Engineering Manager at Wahl’s Clipper Corporation. My son was born prematurely 3 months early. The staff was wonderful with him and he never missed a beat. The doctors said he would never thrive with his class but with the help of Temple Head Start we made sure he thrived with his class!
My Daughter is now 20, a student at Howard University majoring in Media Broadcasting Journalism with a GPA 4.0. My daughter was 2 months prematurely. Like my son they said she would not thrive with her class. Again with the help of Temple Head Start we made sure she thrives with her class.
