This daycare has been nothing but a hassle from the day my daughter started 2yrs ago. The billing is never accurate, the owner is never available to discuss anything in person (it is always via text),and there is always someone new as far as the staff. Ever since the Orwigsburg location has been operating (and Chris is no longer there), the Schuylkill Haven location has been lacking a lot. They want payment on time but can not get the billing straight nor make sure there is someone there on time so the parents can get to work on time to pay their bill. I would not recommend this daycare to anyone at the moment. I am truly hoping that things start to straighten out but after 2yrs it is only getting worse.
I am not happy at all with the way this daycare is treating the school age children and parents. It is as if they do not want the children there when school is closed. Well, for working parents, where else is the child supposed to go?! Not every parent has the luxury of having off of work just because the school is closed. The available slots for when school is closed is on a first come first serve basis. Most parents would expect that their child was welcomed at daycare when school is closed without prior arrangements. This facility has also made some changes without giving parents written notification such as no longer making lunch for the children and no longer have 24/7 hours. The bi-weekly invoices are most oftenly never on time, but they want their money.
We had an exceptional experience at Dancing Dandelion for our two children (infant and three year old)! The owners, Marinda and Chris, and their staff are very attentive to children's needs. They go above and beyond! The center is very clean and welcoming. They are flexible and have very reasonable rates. They also provide healthy and organic meals my children loved! I would highly recommend the center!
DO NOT take your kids here!! The Director is rude and very impatient with the children. She wants nothing to do with them and is rarely even available. Her boyfriend is always wondering around the daycare at will & he Is not an employee. One of the employees told me that they are quitting because the director is such a nasty person. She said there is more but wouldn't tell me. Protect your children, the place looks nice but they are only in it for the money. You won't find one good review on this place & if you do in the future I'm sure it's the director posing as a parent.
awful. i showed up to pick up my son, and he was covered in syrup. he would get random bruises. he told me one time that there was some guy who kept coming into the building. maybe he was one of the girls boyfriend, or maybe he was a psycho killer! the point is that i want more security for my child! they just could let anyone in there. the girls that work there are uncaring and the lady who runs the daycare? she is dismissive and spends all her time in the house part of the daycare with her husband. i would honestly rather leave my son with my demented old mother... NEVER use this daycare. they have had numerous health code violations as of recently too.
