Description: Shepherdstown Day Care is committed to providing educational experiences in a child-centered, nurturing environment. Classroom environments and activities for each age group are designed to encourage children's curiosity, exploration, creativity, problem-solving and skill development. We help children develop the social skills and empathy necessary to get along with others, to feel accepted in a group, to communicate their thoughts and feelings, and to develop a sense of independence. We recognize the necessity of strong communication with each child's family and encourage parent involvement in our Center.
