Santana's Group Family Daycare is nothing short of AMAZING! My 3 year old started with Pamela, Uncle Eddie, and Ms. Melanie last year and I am beyond grateful for how much they've taught him. Being premature at birth, he stayed home for the first 2 years but I new that he would eventually attend Santana's because I knew he would get excellent care. Within weeks of starting he was able to recite and recognize the letters in the alphabet, numbers, shapes, and so much more. He is able to count in both Spanish and English. Pamela is extremely nurturing and takes care of each and every child like they are her own. My 10 year old is a former student of hers and he loves to stop by, he still tells me stories about the great times he remembers in daycare. My 10 year old niece who is also a former student stops by every chance she gets. Pamela not only teaches the children academically, but she also teaches them to be kind, respectful, and well-mannered. The children are kept well fed and clean and the environment is absolutely spotless. I am one very overprotective mother and I trust this daycare with both my boys and will always recommend her to anyone who needs a responsible provider. I will always love this daycare because all of the parents, children, and providers are like a big happy family. They say "it takes a village to raise a child" and Santana's daycare is that village!
I have been using Ms. Santana day care for 8 years now and my son is currently still there. Ms. Santana's Daycare is a daycare that I have come to love so much when dealing with finding quality care for my children. Pamela and her family have become an important part of my children's' lives as well as my own. I am so happy that I ultimately chose this daycare as our primary childcare provider outside of the home. My daughter and my son has grown so much at this place with all the help and encouragement that Pamela and her family give to ensuring the best possible development for a child at their respective age. My son is constantly being exposed with Spanish to continuous promote our ultimate goal of him growing up learning a second language. Pamela and her family are not just a daycare provider that we trust, but a family that we can call our friends. I love that she takes the kids outside to keep the kids not only entertained but educated as well. Things like going to her yard or taking them to the park trips and/or arts and crafts. She keeps us informed with Class JoJo of what is going on in the class room. This helps knowing my child is safe while I am at work (peace of mind) I fully endorse Pamela's business and family as a healthy choice for a daycare provider as well as for your own child's development.
I thought she was nice at first, then she took advantage of me and had an agenda to get me out! My kids got so sick, she kept lying and create issues around parents, talk about me in Spanish to other parents she became nasty! She has herpes and lied to parents saying she had singles! Please do not use this lady it’s too good to be true!!!!
I was an assistant for helping Mrs.Santana Daycare for 6 weeks because I was part of a summer youth program. I had a great experience working with her, uncle eddie and with the children. Mrs.Santana’s daycare center is a great place to put your children in for early learning and doing fun activities as well. All of the children that I’ve met in the daycare are so smart with their letters, numbers, colors and more! I really recommend Mrs.Santana’s Daycare Center you will not regret it !!
I worked here during the summer and may I say this was a great experience working at Santana Group Family Day Care. Mrs.Santana and her Husband Eddie made this summer very educational but fun for the children and they were very kind and helpful to me.Mrs.Santana is really well with the children and make sure they are all set helping them with math and reading. I will definitely recommend this Day care.
Pamela Santana is by far the best at what she does. My husband and I are very greatful to have found such a great day care. Everyone there is so professional , welcoming and overall fantastic with childern. Both my children have attended and absolutely love the entire staff as if they were family. I will highly recommend this darcare to anyone looking for a certified daycare.
One of the BEST!! Daycares around, I have used Ms. Santana twice first with my daughter now recently with my son. Ms. Santana is more than a daycare for my child; it is a second home. They not only love Ms. Santana, but respect her and she respects them in return. She has patiently and lovingly helped them to become more patient with themselves, to be more respectful, polite and to be a good friend to others. She is so creative and is always prepared with some new activity for them to try. "Ms. Santana is the best peace of mind a parent can have. After searching for a quality daycare provider and coming across a few questionable daycare's it was a breath of fresh air to find her! I can go to work with full confidence that my son is in a caring, safe, educational and very fun environment. That peace of mind is priceless! We appreciate her very much!" As all mother's experience, it is very hard to leave your children with someone else when you first go back to work but I knew Ms. Santana was going to give my kids the best care possible and over the years I found this to be true.
5 stars just isn't enough to rate this daycare. I have worked along side with Mrs. Santana and her husband Edwin aka "Uncle Eddie" as the children call him for quite some time. They provide nothing less than the best in all they do; from potty training to learning about the solar system, colors, introducing the children to different languages, I must say that it has been a blessing to work with them. As we all know, every child has a different way of learning and adapting but Mrs. Santana strives on making every child that walks through her doors feel loved and welcomed every day and will adjust her teaching methods if need be to make it inclusive for every childs needs. She goes above and beyond for the children she cares for as if they are her own. Having worked with the Daycare for as long as I have, I have even seen her daycare children that are now in their 20's return to say hi and check in, they have become a part of the daycare family and they are proud to show what they have accomplished thus far. Uncle Eddie is top of the line as well, he's always around to help out with meals, helps during learning lessons, takes the children outside & makes the children laugh with his silliness- he is someone the kids enjoy seeing around. Overall, I would have to agree with the statements of all the parents that have commented, this daycare is truly the best. You will not regret having your child be apart of this family!
Where do I begin? It is not only the BEST family Group Day Care in the Area but that has ever existed! My two children have attended and my sons' advancement in school especially level in reading and math are true results of the outstanding lessons taught by Mrs. Santana and her staff. My daughter says it herself at the age of 35 months... I Love Mrs. Santana and Uncle Eddie. Every time I drive by even on weekends she wants to go in. The dedication, effort, love and passion are felt from the front door. Every child should experience the wonderful lessons and magic that occurs within each room in this daycare. When leaving my children every morning there was/is no second thought in my mind as I go to work that it would be another great day filled with magical experiences. Mrs. Santana ensures the children learn Christian beliefs, have heathy & nutritious meals, unbelievable holiday parties and day to day lessons from reading, math, months, weather and color activities. I compare it to a trip to Disney World with educational experiences attached to every lego, crayon, pencil, books, and toys. Each child becomes theirs once they begin to attend and after they exit are treated with the same love. I could go on for days to write about how wonderful this location , Owner and staff are. Truly amazing!
I feel 100% at ease knowing my daughter is in great hands while I am at work. She has been taught from letter recognition, sounds of letters, sight words, addition & subtraction, seasons, days of the weeks, the months and even science --knowing about planets. Thos provider is amazing. There is no other provider that has the passion for their work and the amount of love, care and attention they provide to our children. Truly amazing, Hands down.
Mrs. Santana is by far the best daycare provider I have ever come into contact with. My oldest son who is now six, entered her daycare when he was three years old. I am very pleased at the growth he has shown in the last three years. He entered kindergarten adding and subtracting. Amazing! He is now on his way to first grade and is already reading at an exiting first grade level. My three year old is currently at Santana's daycare and he is showing great progress as well. She challenges all of the little ones because she sees potential in all of them. She provides what us as mothers fear when we leave our children in someone's care. She provides guidance, love and education! I wouldn't want my children anywhere else.. I always tell Mrs. Santana that her place is a safe haven, because it truly is. I highly recommend this daycare because it IS THE BEST PLACE in the Bronx!
This Daycare is hands down the Best in the Bronx. As "LMota" stated in the previous comment, the children are cared for as if her own. They are potty trained, taught to colors, shapes, alphabet, to read, write, do math, science, history. What doesn't she teach?! Most importantly they learn Christian values and manners. Several students have gone on to Ivy league Preparatory Schools. I would highly recommend this daycare for your children!
this day care is one of the best daycare in NYC, Ms. Santana is very good with the kids, she takes care of them like they are her own. she makes sure they have three meals and snacks. She potty Trained all the children, she shows them manners. She teaches them Spanish and English. she make sure before they leave her school they know how to read write and do math. over all she is the best!! i will recommend her 20 times over and over again
