At Saint Gerard Majella Children’s Center we want to provide a caring, safe, and developmentally appropriate environment for children ages two to five. We will provide an environment that is collaborative and promotes cultural values by supporting positive relationships and respectful interactions. We encourage exploration through play as teachers foster creativity, problem solving, social, emotional, and physical growth. Through our play-based approach, the teachers provide a child-centered curriculum that involves intentional planning based on children’s curiosity and encourages them to construct their own knowledge about the world.

We help children with toilet learning by taking a developmental approach, which means showing signs of readiness physically, emotionally, and cognitively.
