I have toured this provider's facility, but have not used its services

My child did not attend but I took a tour of the school (alongwith my son and husband). First thing I noticed was a lock with a key pad which I was informed about before I visited but seeing it in person made It feel like a juvenile detention center. Upon going inside I was pretty grossed out by a lot of disorganization, dirt and dust which didn’t seem sanitary but I brushed it off because kids get messy. Unfortunately it didn’t get better. The teacher who greeted us lacked warmth/enthusiasm and didn’t seem very excited or qualified to be doing a tour. I remained polite but truth be told none of the teachers showed any care whatsoever. Children left unattended while the staff stood around in other rooms conversing or on their phones. The gross state of the rooms: stains, dirt, dusty cubbies and— brace yourself— open food on a changing table inside one of the potties. As if this wasn’t enough, one child even got hit by another child and started crying. It took the teachers too long to intervene. Proper supervision would have prevented this.

Anyway, I pretty much concluded that I didn’t want my child to attend this school for the reasons listed above in addition to the misleading title as a “preschool”. Seems to be more of a chaotic daycare and even the word dayCARE might be giving it too much credit. They don’t offer any effective curriculum to prepare for the next step in children’s education journey as you would expect a preschool to have. The staff seems inadequate. I don’t mean to be rude but it’s the best way i can describe them. I was very disappointed after hearing such good things about this facility from a friend of mine. However, after asking around I heard the ceo/founder of this preschool no longer teaches there and apparently it had a significant impact on the decline of this facility. In any case, NO I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place. Please visit other childcare facilities before you consider this one.
