Description: Odenton Day Nursery was established in 1960. Mrs. Polly opened the center with a desire to help families care for children while the parents were working. She strived to make it their home away from home. The center is now operated by her daughter, who continues to provide a loving home for children during their parent's work hours. Our team believes cooperation, respect, honesty, confidence, etiquette and creativity are the life skill building blocks for the success of our children.
I have known Miss Polly and daughter Mary for many years. Both my children spent hours with them both at the nursery, as did many many other families in Odenton whose children are now grown and still love them both AND their experiences had at the day care. Odenton as I, misses this day care terribly as it was one that helped raise half the town and it is a great loss to all who knew and loved it.
