Description: It is our goal at Mt. Juliet elementary to use optimal teaching and learning time each day. Our school day starts at 7:15 A.M. and ends at 2:15 P.M. Students should be in their classrooms ready to start their day at 7:15 A.M. each morning. The school doors are unlocked at 6:45 A.M. with bus duty teachers eager to greet our students each morning. Students riding the buses use the front entrance for both arrival and dismissal. Students that are car riders are greeted and dismissed in the back of the school. Drivers of our car riders should use the East gate entrance and drive around to the back of the building. Parents should not allow their children to use the front entrance of the school unless the student is tardy and arriving after 7:15 A.M. Any student that is tardy must be signed in by a parent in the front office. Please see the front of the agenda for more details concerning arrival and dismissal.
