Description: Mountain Sprouts Children's Community is located in the red Art Barn atTierra Learning Center, five miles outside of Leavenworth, WA at 12000 Sunitsch Canyon Rd. Set on 320 pristine acres, the barn classroom offers a comfortable, rustic setting for preschool kids to experience arts and the natural world. A team of Tierra staff members and parent volunteers put in hundreds of volunteer hours in the fall of 2009 to rapidly bring the barn classroom and outdoor play area up to all necessary code requirements. We offer a special thank you to All our parent volunteers - we did it! Marion and Zack Lodato, for providing the inspiration for our parent co-op. Shanda and Andrew Holm, the Tierra Learning Center community and Sunitsch Canyon LLC for their sweat and support.
