Description: MELC is the largest, oldest and most established Montessori school in Columbia, South Carolina. Founded July 15, 1976 MELC offers the full spectrum of the Montessori environment in the purest European tradition. All teachers are European trained and our diplomas are considered by Federal guidelines as the foreign equivalent of a Master's degree.
