Little Sprouts was founded in October 2011 by my husband (Mac) and myself. Mac and I were married in 2008 and have a beautiful daughter Mackenna. I have been blessed to be a stay at home mom to Mackenna for her first three years of life. It was very important to us for me to be there to help her develop in all areas of the early years. Realizing her needs to be with me, Mac and I felt that our dream to open a daycare was in our future, allowing me to continue to be a stay at home mom.  I began caring for children at the age of 12.  Being raised in Oakdale has given me the desire to show the children in our community how much Oakdale has influenced me.

My family was very fortunate to meet Lilly Groom as she cared for my sister, in her prechool years. She has been a role model of mine for the past 18 years and I am so blessed to have her as my friend and mentor. Teacher Lilly has been a well known preschool teacher in the Oakdale Community for over 30 years. She has a beautiful spirit and a sweet loving nature and Mac and I are so fortunate to have a professional assist us in the growth and development of our new daycare.  We look forward to meeting you :)  Melissa
