I have used this provider for more than 6 months

Please take time to read this, I recommend not sending your child here. Our son started at Little Bug when he was 3 years old. At first we were very optimistic. They assured us there would no more than 12 young ones to 1 teacher. Both my husband and I have both been in there when a teacher was gloved up, wiping a little ones butt on a changing table yelling across the room at other kiddos to stop climbing and jumping off high surfaces. At this time I tried counting the number of children with only one teacher and got up to 16 before I lost count. The toilets are out in the open RIGHT NEXT TO WHERE THE KIDS EACH THEIR FOOD EVERY DAY! My son came home with sores on his butt so many times, medicated cream was needed to heal them (who knows how often the toilets were cleaned).

I am in the medical field and take the health of my family very seriously. We brought our sons water home everyday to clean it and exchange it for another one daily. He showered daily, multivitamins as well.... He came home sick ALL THE TIME. Medically, if your child has more than 2 ear infections in one year, they qualify for tubes in their ear. My son had 5 ear infections in less than 8 months which caused a speech delay. My son got so sick one day at school, I went to pick him up after school, the owner of the school informed me he had been telling her he hasn't been feeling well since lunch. She said she thought he just needed to poop.....!?!? So she let it go, he continued to say he didn't feel well (she never called us). Within 2 hours of bringing him home he was throwing up so badly, it lasted clear into the next day. This was absolutely the last straw with us. The following week I decided to pull him from school. I explained everything to the owner and how I felt, she stated "if I knew I would be on the floor in excruciating pain and throwing up so badly I had to go to the hospital, I never would have been around those kids." She told me she was sick too and that she had started to feel bad earlier in the day also. This school had so many children getting sick so often, they closed the school for a mandatory cleaning period for 2 days and still required the parents to pay for it!!

The owner of this school has personally cried to me (near hysterically) about many different issues going on in her life (I comforted and consoled her and I do feel terrible), but if she is this upset with just any parent that comes to talk to her, I'm sure the children can sense that from her!? There were many things she cried to me about but one of them (was out in the yard where all the children were around) was how her daughter got out of jail and she was very worried that she was going to get full custody back of her granddaughter.

The school went on lockdown a couple of times (so did a few other schools) because of active shooters, and there was a note posted on the outside of the door to call the number listed so they could unlock the door to let us in. Worked well the first time, the second time, there were some older kids right there in the lobby, with a small TV set up on the desk so they could watch a movie. I walked right up to the doors, they were very visible, one of them came up to the door and unlocked it (I didn't have to call), I walked in to get my son and watched as he sat back down without locking it back. I asked them to lock it back, after he did he was talking with the other children about why they had to lock the door because they did not know. The shooter could have came to the door, seen these kids, and they may have let him in.

You would walk in the building and immediately see sticky stuff all over the floors, after the "sanitization days" we came to drop him off and he picked up a toy and it had dried old food on it.

THIS SCHOOL WAS COMPLETELY HORRIBLE. Immensely dirty, very unprofessional, and the owner also told me one of my sons teachers would no longer be there because she just walked out one day and never came back.

After taking my son to a specialist, speech therapy, and possibly surgery for tubes, it was completely cleared out after simple allergy nose spray and saline spray. His speech improved immediately and they stated it was because of how often he was sick. He had to be on antibiotics for months so frequently to clear ear infections and sinus infections, the doctors office told us he wasn't the first from this school. Please consider this review before sending your child here.

BEWARE! This school is under new ownership which I did not know upon enrolling my child in the toddler room. The dynamics of the classroom were extremely unhealthy for the infants and toddlers. I would describe the teachers as passive aggressive. Nice to the parents but mean to the children. Examples I witnessed... Babies were left in there cribs to cry themselves to sleep. Owner said, I can't pay someone to hold kids all day. Nap time was the hardest for me to endure. Teachers would just yell at the kids to lay down, go to bed, in mean stern voices then picked up slammed on there mat and covered with a blanket. Their is ZERO nurturing or loving touches at this school. One teacher said, its the school of hard knocks. When I inquired on how my child was adjusting I was told, My Child Holds his/her own! What does that mean exactly? At lunch I watched a teacher rip a Sippy cup out of a toddlers hand a yelled at that it wasn't theirs! Unreal... If this behavior goes on when a parent is present.. I wonder what happens otherwise...
