Description:
This program is a ministry of the Silver City Church of Christ. We are a state licensed, private pay only, faith-based,child care program specialized for elementary aged children. We provide a somewhat structured environment for children every day when Silver Schools are in session. Full days and summer care can be provided upon sufficient demand and staffing. A typical after-school session includes outdoor play, healthy snacks, character-building / Bible-based lessons, homework time, and indoor activities and free play. Special on-site programs or field trips are planned on days when children are released early. We strive to nurture the whole child in a loving, caring environment.
Students from Jose Barrios walk with staff members to our site. Other public elementary students are transported in the church's van, and that space is limited.
Rates vary according to how many days children attend and what time they are picked up from our care. NM Gross Receipts Tax is included in the fee.
