When I arrived at 11am on a Wednesday morning I saw the signs that said the entrance was on the side of the building. I went around and attempted to get in but the door was locked. This didn't bother me as it's a daycare and security is everything. I went back around and attempted to go in what looked like a main entrance. This door WAS unlocked. As soon as I walked in I could see down stairs where there was a gate and obviously the daycare. I went down and looked a little to see if I could find someone. Since I don't know anyone and there are other children there I did not gross the gate. I came back up and decided to call the two phone numbers that are listed on the sign on the door. I was sent to voicemail at both phone numbers. At this point I had been wandering around all over the building for close to 10 minutes and once I wasn't even able to reach anyone by phone I decided that this was not a place that I would EVER bring my child. I could have come in walked around and ultimately likely even taken a child before anyone would have ever noticed. This was quite disturbing to me. Something needs to be done with the security of the facility and a better way for a parent or visitor to access while still keeping the facility secure. I've taken my daughter to a church daycare/preschool before and I must say that their security was far beyond what was offered here at Legacy.
