Description: Welcome to the School Age program at Learning Avenues. Our goals in the School Age Program are to help children develop responsibility, build self-esteem and enjoy the time they spend in our care by providing a variety of activities. We provide a positive learning environment with warm, caring staff in tune with the child's needs. Children do most of the following on any given day: arrive and get checked in, have a snack, go outdoors for play, have project time, have free choice indoors, go into the gym for play, have time to do their homework, and time to choose quiet things to do. Children are encouraged to make choices and be individuals.
Where possible, ChildcareCenter provides inspection reports as a service to families. This information is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed. We encourage families to contact the daycare provider directly with any questions or concerns, as the provider may have already addressed some or all issues. Reports can also be verified with your local daycare licensing office.
