Mission Statement:
Learning Adventures provides a warm, caring environment for children to strengthen and support the desire for learning. By providing some of the same enriching experiences children experience at home, the childcare environment can supplement the family’s care and education of its children through careful attention to the child and active encouragement of family partnership and communication.
In order to provide this quality of service to our children and parents, learning Adventures works toward several specific goals. First, I provide an interactive daily schedule, encouraging both social and intellectual development. Examples of some of the activities are: Arts and crafts, hands on manipulative play, and imaginative play.
Second, I understand the importance of the child’s need for outside play, exploration of different places and interaction with a various environments. Learning Adventures provides children with biweekly, weekly, and daily field trips at various times throughout the year. Parents are always welcome and encouraged to participate in these field trips which are at no cost to the child. Examples of destinations are Exploration Place, Zoo, Museums, parks, and library.
Finally, communication with the family of the child is top priority. Any and all updates regarding care will be through text, phone calls, or updated on our website.https://www.facebook.com/groups/LearningAdventuresDaycare/
