I have been with Leap and Learn for 3 years now. I love my job, my co-workers are all amazing.I love my loving children and our wonderful parents. Kellie and Rocco are the best owners and help me with anything I may need or have questions with. I have grown as a teacher and enjoy everyday at Leap and Learn since I started my journey with them.

I have worked for Kellie and Rocco for a little over two and a half years now and I love going to work every day. I have been able to grow personally and professionally, with support in everything I do in my classroom and out. I have been treated with such respect by both owners, coworkers, and all the families. I pride myself on getting my class not only ready for kindergarten, but also being good people. I have a great relationships with all the kids in my class and their parents and all those parents know we have an open door policy and are more than welcome to come to myself, Kellie, or any staff member with anything they may need. The children are encouraged to be curious, playful, ask questions and learn in the best way for them. The teachers understand that each child, family and situation is different and to care and love each child the same, but to adjust their curriculum based on what the children in their classes need at that time.

I have used this provider for more than 6 months

Love. LOVE. Love this center. I have sent two children there over the course of 5 years!! The center is always clean. The staff members seem happy. Both my kids are/were happy there. I can tell the staff truly cares about the children. The manager Lina has really done such wonderful things there. Anytime I have a question/concern it is always addressed immediately and professionally. The teachers in the Toddler two room are amazing at potty training and working with me to find resolutions to training at home. Their policies are very clear-if there is ever a question about policies the manager has been very helpful. I encourage you to give them a try. It’s very important to trust the place where you send your kids and I trust this center 100% and I have for years.

I have used this provider for more than 6 months

My son went to school here for a while and I tried to stay open minded about everything that went on there. From my son constantly being bit, which I understand happens every once in a while but by the time we pulled him he had over 10 accident reports, to stories not adding up. What I discovered is that the manager, Courtney, no longer seemed to be around very much and the owners I would see maybe once every couple of months. I had asked them to start with potty training my son and that didn't happen because they "didn't have access to a bathroom" even though during the tour they boasted about having 3 or 4 bathrooms for the children. He would constantly get sent home with big bite marks or scratches. He went through 6 teachers in 3 months. And I was very rarely able to get a hold of the director at all. Instead they transferred me to the "assistant director" which I didn't even know existed. You'd think maybe they would announce at some point that there was one.
I started speaking to the other parents out of concern and found that the employees were very unhappy with their employment. We, as parents, are paying for snow days and holidays and the teachers don't even get those days paid! WE ARE PAYING THE COMPANY AND THEY ARE NOT PAYING THE EMPLOYEES! No wonder they can't keep a teacher! The 7th teacher was my last straw. They will fool you in the beginning and make you think they're great but over time you will see things add up.
I'm beginning to hear more and more about this company and I'm honestly surprised they're still licensed.
Oh and don't try talking to the employees. I tried to message a few and they said the owners send out letters threatening lawsuits to any employees that talk to parents.
What does that tell you about the place?

I have used this provider for less than 6 months

Not to be trusted. They will tell you what you want to hear to your face to keep you happy. I caught the manager, Courtney, in a pretty serious lie about my child. When I confronted her about it she continued on with her lies until she couldn't keep up with them anymore. Then eventually said "Oh, woops" and tried to laugh it off. I would strongly recommend finding a different daycare. You should feel confident in where you keep your children. This is not a good place to go.

I love Leap n learn, my child wouldn't go anywhere else. I have searched for a daycare all over Biddeford, Saco, Scarborough and leap n learn is perfect for my child. Every parent wants the best for their child, and enrolling them in Leap n learn is the best thing for them! My daughter LOVES going to Leap N Learn and LOVES the teachers!
I know that Kellie, Rocco and there staff always do their best for the children. I am always happy to drop my daughter off knowing that she is happy. They give the best care and love as if all the children were their own.

My son has gone to leap n learn since he was 18 months old and he is now off to kindergarten. I love leap and learn and I will defended them and tell anyone about them. They have treated me son with so much love and affection. With being a working mother , it is hard to find a good daycare that you can trust with your child. Kellie & Rocco are both so kind to my son. There staff is amazing and my son is ready for kindergarten because of them. From there daily curriculum to there art projects. I know I made the best decision sending my son to leap n learn. And if I have another child I would send my new baby there also. It's the best feeling to have, knowing while I'm at work my child is safe and happy! Thank you so much Kellie & Rocco for providing a second home for my child.

I am an employee

This is the absolute last place I would recommend for childcare. I have been in childcare for a number of years, working at a handful of places. I have never worked at a facility that made me question my morals so much. Some examples include: - Forcing sick staff to come into work. I witnessed a very sick coworker who caught the 24 hour bug feed a 4 month old in-between trips to the bathroom. - Parent's complaining because their child was sent home in dried on poop. - Allowing children to eat other children's snacks from their lunch boxes that were sent from home. - Putting diapers sent from home almost daily on other children. - Moving children to different rooms for the day/week to balance staff/child ratios and purposely not telling parents which room their child was in that day. - There is one child whose parents asked for their child to be woken up at a certain time each day from their nap and the parent was told that the child would be. Instead of actually waking the child at the proper time, they allow the child to sleep and lie on the daily notes. - Teacher's not accurately filling out daily sheets. Due to too locations, the owners are often not there, leaving the management in charge. The management is very immature and will discuss private matters with everyone at the daycare. Often the staff is more involved in the daily drama then the children. Management purposely talked the owners into putting two teachers together in the same room trying to get one or both to quit/get fired. The management shared this with every other employee. I could go on to explain a number of specific stories but these are a few general points. I lost all trust in the ownership/management. The ownership is manipulative and down right rude. They had very little respect for their employees. I witnessed Rocco, the owner yell at 2 of his employees so badly in front of other staff that one walked out and never came back. The other one was left in tears. Do not trust your children with people with such little respect and honesty. There is much better daycares/preschools in the area.

The teachers are amazing! The owners and staff truly care about the children here. They have always been professional and kind to my family. My daughter comes home excited about her day and always looks forward to tell me what she learned. My baby is always happy when I pick him up and his daily sheet tells me what he did during the time I was at work. I can truly tell that the teachers love what they do and I could not be happier to send my kids here.

I have used this provider for more than 6 months

I have been with this daycare and trusted them for four years. That was until 11/25/2015 when I had the most unprofessional run in with the daycare provider Kellie R. My son had croup and was seen by a doctor, which the doctor cleared him in to being able to go back to school the following day as long as his cough was better, which it was. I had dropped my son off to school and went to work. When I got to work, a co-worker at the daycare had been calling, her name is Courtney. I called her back immediately to which she answered and told me that I needed to come get Brett. I advised I had a note clearing him to be at school and she said that was fine and to bring the note. As I was on my way to bring the note back to her she called again and advised that the owner Kellie said that Brett needed to be out for 5 days due to this illness according to their handbook. I arrived at the daycare to pick up my son and walked into their office which sat Kellie who gave me a snarled hello in the rudest way so I ignored her. I left the note and grabbed a copy of the handbook and went to get my son. I was in the room grabbing my son when all of a sudden a worker asked me why he was leaving and my response as an aggravated mother was "because kellie is being f***ing retarded." I left the school and went to work. As I stopped at a red light I looked at the book and no where in the handbook does it state he needed to be out for 5 days for croup. I called back to the facility and Kellie had answered and when I asked where it said he couldnt come back for 5 days, she said in the rudest way that he wasnt allowed back at all because I wanted to swear and call her retarded. I was shocked by this. When I got angry and questioned why she rudely hung up on me. I called back and let her know I wanted in writing why she was kicking my son out and I wanted his things. I arrived at the daycare and met Courtney at the door who had my sons things in hand. I walked into the office for my note and there sat Kellie. Brett was running around and I told him to stop running around because he had been subjected to this place enough. I was angry with Kellie who then resulted in calling the cops and tried saying I was trespassing. I grabbed my son and placed him in the car and waited for the cop who did nothing but laugh at her the entire time for how stupid she was. This doesnt even begin with my nightmare at this place. My two year old son had broken his leg and I got two different stories on how it happened and they told me he was up and running around after he had hurt his leg which was impossible because his leg was completely fractured. I pulled my four year old son from this place because his teachers didnt even know how to spell and he was not being taught the things he should have been, I have other parents who have pulled their children for the same reasons. Kellie and Rocco are unprofessional and you'd be sorry to place your children in their care. There has been other accusations in which a teacher yelled at another child in front of their parent and the parent removed their child and kellie covered up the whole thing making that mother and father look to be the bad people when I have seen a woman yell at kids before and I made a comment about it. My son wasnt fed three times because his lunch was placed in a different lunch box and when I finally said something Kellie said they had called and left a message on my old phone which was still active and I never had a message from them at all.

My daughter loves it there. Everyone loves her and is always nice and kind to her. They work towards my needs and there to suppot me and what my dissisions are in raising my daughter. They help me out with potty training her and teaching her right from wrong.
