I have used this provider for more than 6 months

Kids camp saved my life so many times, I can't even begin to explain. My son started going to Kids Camp at the age of 3 and has loved every minute of it. He is now 10 and as I reflect back to the times of need that this business helped me with, I can honestly say that I get teary eyed as I had no family to help me with my son and I was starting my own business at the time that we started going to them. I don't know how I would've done it all without them! Their hours are so flexible and they were always there for any emergency situations that I had.

We moved out of the area a couple years ago, but I still come to Folsom for business and use them if I'm in the area with my son and need a place for him to stay while I do a couple of hours of work! He still loves it, and likes that there's a space for older kids too! :)

Thank you Miss Kitty, Deena and Joe for always making my son's experience a golden one.

To the review ahead of mine. Get over it with the "loud noises" scaring your son. Tell your son that there will be many loud noises in life and many different people making them. Be strong, be brave and get used to it. To put a permanent negative mark (posted since 2015!) on a small business for something so petty is absolutely ridiculous.

Kids Camp is fantastic and I highly recommend it!

This review is for all Kids Camps in Sacramento area and their owner Ms. Kitty.
Our two children have been going to Kids Camp mostly in El Dorado Hills and couple of times in Folsom for over a year now. Our children always had fun there while my husband and I spent some quality time together on a date, knowing, there are safe.
When we started using Kids Camp, the only problem we came across at the beginning was that our, then 2-year old, son was terrified of Teacher Joe (who we found out is the owner Ms. Kitty’s SON). It appears that he traumatized our son by popping bottles and making loud noises. Since then, we always made sure, the owner’s son, Teacher Joe, is not working. 95% of the time, we used El Dorado Hills Kids Camp and wonderful teachers there had never problems with us calling ahead of time, making sure, a Teacher Joe is not working. It worked great, no issues.
Two weeks ago, we called Folsom Kids Camp and wanted to make sure that a certain teacher is not working there, as usual. A manager, Miss Deena, was very sketchy and said she could not tell us, as the owner’s son, Teacher Joe, was “A floater”. We have decided to drop of our kids there anyways and asked to call us, in case he would show up. We left, and in about 20 minutes, we got a call from Miss Deena, letting us know that Teacher Joe is on his way to work at Folsom Kids Camp location. It is hard to believe that the manager, Miss Deena wouldn’t know that information at the time of us dropping of our children. Of course we rushed to the rescue and picked up our children right away.
After a conversation with my husband, we have decided to try to work it out between our son and the owner’s son, Teacher Joe. We thought, we would go see him when he is working and see, if our son would be willing to trust him and play with him. When we called Folsom Kids Camp (it was last Friday), we were informed that our account was frozen (that sounded serious) and that the owner would like to speak to us. We figured, it was about her son, we said of course, we would be happy to talk to her. We were excited that the owner herself would take that time to talk to us personally and work things out.
After couple of hours of waiting, no call back from the owner. We called back Folsom Kids Camp; Miss Deena reassured us that she sent the owner our message to call us back. Another couple of hours of waiting, still no call back. Finally, after the third call and hours of waiting, we were informed that the owner is on vacation for the next couple of days.
The following Monday, we called again, asking the owner to return our calls. When the owner, Ms. Kitty, finally called back late Monday afternoon, she told us they will no longer be telling us who and when is working, as it a safety issue of her employees. I understand that. What about the safety of our children? We never cared who and when and which facility are employees working at, we only cared that the owner’s son, Teacher Joe, is not working at that time as our son was petrified of him. I believe we were doing, what would any other parents out there do – protect our children. We were doing this for over a year, and nobody had any issues with that until the Folsom Kids Camp manager, Miss Deena, reported us to Ms. Kitty, the owner, the business woman. The owner was not willing to listen to us and cooperate. She expected us to continue using her Kids Camp facilities and drop off our children there, not caring, whether our children, her customers, are happy, or terrified of a certain teacher. Also, she explained that the reason why she froze our account during the 4-day holiday weekend, was because she wanted to personally talk to us. The 5-minute conversation, she couldn’t dedicate to her customers during her vacation.
Additionally, she informed us (we all know now who the reliable source was) that our son came across Teacher Joe several times while being there and that our son is not afraid of him and that he even gave him high fives several times. The information is incorrect, as she was mixing our child with someone else. Our daughter told us she hasn’t seen Teacher Joe since the incident earlier last year, due to which has our son been traumatized of popping sounds since.
Last, but not least, my husband noticed, that the owner, Ms. Kitty, was recording the conversation with him, without his consent. It is illegal to record the phone call conversation without letting the other person know you are doing so here in California!
We asked for our credit money back and the owner issues the check without a question. The owner of Kids Camp proved herself as a very poor business woman. She did not care that our child was traumatized of the teacher and she was not willing to work with us as parents and paying customers either. No carrying, no passion for children. She did not even apologize. She blamed us for all this.
We are disappointed. We trusted that place, we trusted the teachers, and we trusted the owner. We thought they cared…..
